A Latvian iGaming Licence is issued and strictly monitored by State Revenue Service (VID). Operating under the Law on On-line Gambling and Lotteries, Latvia runs a highly regulated, secure, and fully transparent European market.To maintain market integrity, the country heavily penalizes unlicensed operators by executing nationwide financial blacklists and active ISP geo-blocking on all unauthorized domains. The VID grants interactive gambling licenses that allow companies to offer specific digital products to the Latvian market: Casino Games: Covers digital slot machines, roulette, blackjack, and other table games powered by an RNG; Sportsbooks / Betting: Covers fixed-odds betting, betting exchanges, and totalizators for athletic and virtual events; Peer-to-Peer (P2P): Covers poker networks, card rooms, and digital bingo platforms where players compete against each other.
